Meet The Teacher
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are pleased to invite you to our annual Meet the Teacher event on Wednesday, September 23, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This event provides a wonderful opportunity to connect with teachers, learn about courses and programs, and gain valuable information about the school year ahead.
Evening Schedule
6:00 PM - 6:30 PM | Welcome Presentation
Join us in the Student Centre for an informative welcome from the school administration. During this time, we will:
· Share important information about our school
· Introduce our Learning Leaders
· Hear from our Parent Society
· Highlight key initiatives and opportunities for students
6:30 PM - 8:00 PM | Teacher Drop-In Sessions
Following the welcome presentation, parents and guardians are invited to visit teachers and program areas at their own pace. Members of our Leadership and Volunteer Club will be stationed at major school entrances and throughout the building to help guide visitors to classrooms and program areas.
Teacher and Program Locations
- Core Subjects (English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies): Library
- Career and Technology Studies (CTS): Designated shop areas (primarily third floor, with some locations on the second floor)
- Fine Arts (FA): Individual program rooms throughout the school (Studios in basement, first floor theatre, and third floor classrooms)
- Physical Education (PE): Auxiliary Gym
- English as an Additional Language (EAL): Library Conference Room
- Knowledge and Employability (K&E): Room 1205
- Student Services: Main Foyer
- Specialized Programs (CSSI, The Class, PLP, and LEAD): Regular classroom locations
Additional Information:
Light refreshments will be served in the Student Cafeteria throughout the evening. Visitors are asked to park in the stalls adjacent to the Athletic Field or in available street parking nearby.
